Hi Everyone...This Saturday we will have the first Artist Market at the Alpharetta Matildas location from 10-3... These new markets will be every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month..Many local Etsy online shops will be set up with all kinds of arts, crafts, and jewelry... Come see what's new... At 4 pm Chuck has organized a picking session... Everyone is invited. Just bring your instrument and join in.... Later in the evening at 8:30 pm the concert season starts with Bill Sheffield doing a benefit for the concert venue ....The proceeds will go toward expenses to keep the venue going.. If you have a table and chairs that you would like to donate drop them by anytime.... April 1st one of our favorite bands, Mudcat, will be back.. The website is updated with the schedule. Hi Everyone... Say hello to an exciting new adventure just down the street in Roswell... Galerie Matilda 959 Canton Street Roswell, GA. 30075. The Opening Party (video above) was a blast and went longer than scheduled. The video provides a look at the great artwork now available at this new location. The party was loud and you will need to listen closely to hear the artists showing their work.

Some exciting new ventures are also in store for Matilda's Cottage, such as a twice a month artist's market with 30 to 40 local Etsy artisans selling their wares.

Concerts will continue at Matilda's Cottage going through the spring, summer, and fall with the most diverse lineup yet.

Haiku Art has opened in the front room of the cottage with an amazing collection of pottery from some of the South's best known potters. Bridget London comes from a long line of North Georgia pottery families whose work is featured in the Smithsonian Museum.

These are just a few of the things that will be keeping the home fires burning, but there is more coming and will be the subject of future emails.

Saturday March 12th. was the last day of the moving sale... Galerie Matilda is open for business.
